AN EMPRESS'S RESIDENCE

It was in Tangier that the famous French pop group prepared their second album

THE CUSTOMER

Universal Music France (UMF), a subsidiary of Universal Music Group (UMG) present in over 60 countries, is the leader in music entertainment, with activities ranging from recorded music to music publishing, merchandising, partnerships and audiovisual content.

THE PROBLEM

L'Impératrice is a French pop group that enjoyed success right from their first album. Tour after tour, the artists needed a break to compose the second album. Tangier was chosen for a three-week creative residency. Conciergerie moderne organized and accompanied the stay.

THE CHALLENGE

To offer a soothing place that can be both home and studio, and take care of everything so that artists can devote themselves exclusively to composing their new album.

THE SOLUTION

A large, elegant house by the sea. Reactivity and inventiveness to find the best solutions. A cook who's addicted to the delights of Moroccan cuisine.

THE RESULT

"A three-week stay in Tangier, where we spent some magical moments in an equally magical place. A break between two tours that the members of L'Impératrice all have the same memory of: "We really spent three weeks eating like pachas. Going from breakfasts in brioche-kinder country mode to those concocted by the chef of the place, whose name was Zora, you'd be surprised how much it makes you want to compose!
